Prior to joining Knight MacKay Morrow, Gavin worked at a large Kansas City law firm where he gained experience in personal injury defense, particularly motor vehicle collisions and slip-and-falls. During law school, Gavin interned at the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office. While at law school, Gavin earned the CALI Award for Future Excellence in Education Law.

Outside of the office, Gavin enjoys spending time with his wife, working on various home improvement projects and learning about history and theology.
